Spanky at 13 months old was Challenge, Best Of Breed and Best Gundog at Newcastle and Northern District Show, 29th May 1960. She repeated that win at Newcastle and Merriweather combined Canine Show 5th June 1960 in each show she was Best Puppy In Show. After that time she won extremely well and often competing with her kennel mate Black Bess for top awards. Both bitches getting their title within a week of each other.

Even Better
(Buddy)
Buddy was a firm favorite. A Gold dog who sired many lovely bitches. He won B.O.B at the "Pal Show" in 1970 Now known as the Spring Fair, and was always well placed on the few shows he attended. As a puppy he was Best Puppy at Brisbane Royal Show, but he never finished his tittle.
